WHATEVER YOUR CHALLENGE WE HAVE AN ENERGY SAVING LIGHTING SOLUTION

ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHTING DESIGN is a WBE consultancy group based in NYC.  Our projects are as diverse as our team’s experience and talents---we design energy saving lighting for multi-family, commercial, educational, and hospitality buildings---focusing on lobbies, corridors, stairwells, back-of house areas, landscapes, and parking facilities.

No one is greener than we are.  We show you ways to meld decorative and functional fixture design with sustainable lighting practices.  We often partner with manufacturers to design fixtures that meet a project’s aesthetic and energy reducing objectives.  We show you how occupancy sensor controls can be subtle and people-friendly.

Confused about the new Energy Code and Local Law requirements?  We demystify the process for you. We’ll walk you through them and direct you to the products that put you on the right path for compliance.

Con Ed incentives add to the monetary pluses for being energy efficient.  And we make sure you don’t miss any opportunities.  We take care of the auditing, prepare a cost analysis, manage the applications, and schedule pre/post inspections.  You enjoy the benefits.

OUR LIGHTING EXPERTISE AND CODE COMPLIANT STRATEGIES ARE WHAT SET US APART FROM OUR COMPETITORS.

OUR SPECIALTIES

LIGHTING UPGRADES

Upgrading existing lighting is a cost-effective way to meet the NYC Energy Conservation Code and Local Law 88 requirements, lower energy costs, and reduce maintenance.  It also improves your building standards for a higher overall Local Law 33 Energy Score.

LIGHTING DESIGN

We at EELD use innovative, energy efficient light fixtures and control devices to bring beauty and safety to interior and exterior spaces.  Working closely with architects, interior designers, co-op board members, and building owners/managers, our goal is to have you experience the power light has to improve a building’s environment.

SUSTAINABILITY

We’re concerned about our planet.  Where possible, we recycle existing fixtures and upgrade interior components.  We give preference to fixtures labeled RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), and work to restore historical light fixtures.
